Commissions

What medium can my commission be done in?

I do commissions in pencil, acrylic paint (I do oil paint as well but dry and send-out time will be longer), and watercolor. Commissions can be done on white stretched canvas or as a framed print. The price is the same, whichever you pick. 

Giving Credit

Please mention if you do not want your commission posted anywhere. I do post and display commissions as examples of what I have created, and I may charge a $5 fee (based on the image and its complexity) if you want me to withhold posting it on social media. If you repost the art I have created for you, please give appropriate credit and tag me @winsartistry on Facebook and/or Instagram.

What I do not draw or paint

• NSFW art

• Gore/Horror

• Recreations  (meaning I won't make copies or replicas of other artist's work)

• Anything I deem offensive (because it may not be offensive in your opinion here are some examples: anything tied to racism or homophobia, political and war associated pieces, appropriative and disrespectful to any culture, crime/gang-related pieces, etc. And yes I do check and research all requests) 

Knowing what you want

If you are a bit unsure of what exactly to write when commissioning me, please read the Commission Request page before filling out a form. Please read the description of each commission type. Keep in mind that "base price" means that is the price it will start at. The bigger and more complex your commission is, the higher the price will be. 

How to Pay

​I use Square and PayPal to process all payments.

When you send me your commission request, if I accept it and you agree with the price quote I give you, I will then ask for a $50 down payment. This down payment is the same for all commissions. I will request you to pay the remainder of the commission price once I have finished it. After I receive your payment, I will mail out your piece. If I do not receive payment two weeks after the commission is done, I will contact you one more time. I will hold your commission for up to 3 months. After that, I will decide what becomes of your commission. 

For payment through PayPal:

I will request your PayPal address. Once you have given me your PayPal address, I will then send you an invoice through PayPal, and, once you accept, the money will transfer to me and I will start on the commission.

It is easier for me to organize payments when they are invoices. Do not send the DOWNPAYMENT as a good! When people send me a down payment they may accidentally select to pay for goods that are physical. That is only fine when I'm about to ship something to the person who just paid me. 

Additionally, never send money via the "friends and family" option. This bypasses the PayPal fee which can potentially get the artist's account frozen if PayPal has enough to believe that you guys aren't friends.

If you send me money directly for a commission before my invoice, I will have to refund it. If it says that your payment is pending, that is because the bank is processing your payment and my refund. Your money will just take time to return to you.

This is a hassle for us both, so just let me handle sending invoices :).

All prices are in USD (I can ship internationally if needed, but pricing will change and be adjusted as needed). All prices are base prices and do not include the price of shipping for the finished result.
